About Us
The Dog House opened in 2000. We are a full service premiere grooming salon & spa. We have a state-of-the art salon with the newest equipment & supplies. We always attend the latest grooming seminars to stay informed of new techniques and trade secrets. Our stylists have well over 30 years combined experience in the industry. We care for & treat your fur baby with love, tender care, and compassion as if they were our own.
Christie Connolly
I have been grooming and training dogs for over 25 years. I started my career as a dog bather at a well known salon in Boston. Over the next few years I worked very hard to learn the different haircuts and techniques needed to become a Professional Groomer. I eventually went on to became the manager of that salon. My dream came true when I entered a grooming competition and became an Award winning Groomer. While doing all this I also attended Mount Ida College and graduated in 1993 with a double major in grooming and training. I received an associate degree in canine sciences and I am also certified in pet CPR and First Aid.
Sarah Humphries
Sarah has been grooming dogs for nearly 13 years. She started off her career off as a dog bather and quickly knew she had a passion for helping dogs look and feel their best. She went on to attended the grooming academy at Petsmart in 2007. From there she moved on to a small private salon were she quickly became the assistant manager for 8 years. Wanting to hone in on her grooming skills and learn different techniques along with more intense haircuts, she found her home here at "The Dog House" in early 2020. She has proven to be a vital asset to our team. She is caring, kind, hardworking, and a true pleasure to have at the salon while she is learning new things everyday.
Kasey Baron
Kasey Baron is a full time employee who manages our bathing department. She has grown up in the grooming industry along side her mother, and knows the business inside out. When she is home from school she helps with many things such as prepping dogs, washing, blow drying, grooming, as well as keeping things running smoothly up front with our clients.
